COPPA Compliance

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") governs the online collection of personal information from children under 13 in the United States. This notice sets out how Kinder Kids Modeling meets it.

Children do not have accounts

Our service is directed at parents and legal guardians, not at children. A child cannot register, sign in, upload anything, send a message, or interact with the site in any way. Every account belongs to an adult who confirms they are the parent or legal guardian of each child they list.

Parental consent

We collect information about a child only when their parent or guardian enters it themselves into their own account. Creating a child profile is the act of consent: nothing about a child reaches us by any other route.

Because the parent supplies the information directly through their own authenticated account, and because the information is used solely to represent the child for modelling work the parent is seeking, we do not collect information from children online within the meaning of COPPA.

What is collected about a child

• First and last name, age, gender
• Country, nationality, languages spoken
• Casting measurements: height, shoulder width, foot size, eye colour, hair colour
• Passport and visa details, where the parent provides them
• Photographs supplied by the parent
• An optional short biography written by the parent

We do not collect a child's contact details, home address, date of birth, school, geolocation, or any persistent identifier tied to the child. We do not serve behavioural advertising and we do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.

How it is used and disclosed

Information about a child is used to present them to casting directors and clients, and to process casting applications the parent submits. It is disclosed only to those clients and to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. It is never sold.

Parental rights

As the parent or guardian, you may at any time:

• Review all information we hold about your child
• Correct anything inaccurate
• Delete the profile, which removes the record, its photographs and its casting applications
• Refuse further collection or use of your child's information by deleting the profile or closing the account

You can do all of this from the dashboard. If you would rather we did it for you, or you want written confirmation, contact us and we will act within 30 days.

Public visibility

By default a child's first and last name, age, gender, country and main portrait appear on the public showcase so that casting clients can find them. If you do not want your child shown publicly, tell us and we will restrict the profile to signed-in casting clients.
